A one-year old male has a history of eczema and thrombocytopenia. Two other family members, now deceased, had a similar history (see pedigree).
Lab results indicate prolonged bleeding time, decreased levels of IgM and absence of ABO antibodies. Alpha-fetoprotein is also increased.
